The 3C Method of Wedding Photography

When you choose me to capture the details of your day, you can expect a unique experience.

We will create photographs that show all the love in your life—the love from family, the love from friends, and the love from your partner. Just be comfortable and be yourself—the story will naturally unfold.

You probably have plenty of questions as you choose your wedding photographer. Please get in touch with me and ask! I've also already answered some common ones to get us started.

How do I become a client?

You can check availability by using the contact page or a phone call. After availability is confirmed we can discuss your specific package need. A custom contract will be presented to you including you package details. Then you can book EPIC Photography by providing a simple retainer and contract signature.

What is your photographic style?

I strive for a clean, timeless quality in my photographs. When I tell your story through my camera, I want it to be something you can keep, something that will continue to show a timeless truth about your relationship. That won’t happen if the focus is on that year’s trend. My job is to be able to judge the couple and the moment and adjust camera techniques accordingly. That’s why you’ll never hear me put myself into one style of photography. Instead, I will be flexible enough to take the photo that captures the most unique and important details of your day.

Do you take family portraits?

Of course! Candid photos so important, but group family formals are a testament to the magnitude of the event. At no other time is capturing a moment so important to all family members, and for many families they feel most united during the time spent taking these photos. Group portraits take advance planning to set up in the whirlwind of the day. When you become my client, we’ll make a plan and a backup plan for the when, where, and who of the photos. We’ll discuss the groups you’d like photographed together and any other less obvious details before we get started, and the results will be stunning.

Do you work with anyone else?

Yes. Rest assured that I will always be present on the day, but I believe working with a team makes everything run much more smoothly. This team includes an assistant and typically a second photographer of great skill and experience. My assistant helps with lighting and equipment so I can focus on the story around me instead of logistics. I strive to give every client epic photos, and the second photographer will have the same standards and eye to quality as myself. For this reason, Epic Wedding Photography always uses professionals, never students.

What happens after you take the photos?

It will take two to four weeks for us to cull and edit and send you a full set of images that tell your story. However, selected photos can be previewed much sooner after your day. Packages that include albums will have a turnaround time that aligns with the album approval and manufacturing process.

How many images will be in my set?

The number of photos you receive will range depending on the number of guests, length of coverage, photography plan we set out together beforehand, the day’s schedule and more. Regardless of those factors, you will receive hundreds of photographs that tell the story of your love.

How will I receive my photos?

You will receive your photos in two ways, a custom flash drive and a personal online gallery. Epic Wedding Photography uses PASS Galleries for one year of sharing and ten years of backup.
